The water body covers an area of about 200 acres while it’s surrounded by green mangrove forests.

The Experience:

Guests have the option of choosing from the early morning session at 4.00 am or the evening session at 4.00 pm. The tour will last approximately 2 hours. Your adventure begins at the lagoon entrance where you will be assisted to board a small boat which is eco-friendly. Gliding along the calm waters of the lagoon, you will witness a number of wildlife, including aquatic and semi aquatic bird species, water monitors and crocodiles who are found basking under the hot sun. A common sight in the surrounding mangrove forests are the Macaque Monkeys. A surprising outcome of this tour would be to spot elephants from a safe distance who come towards the lagoon waters to cool off during the evenings.

Be it the dawning of the day or towards the calm evening during dusk, this tour will take you on a journey that is filled with serenity and natural beauty. The tour ends back at the lagoon entrance and if you are located in a nearby hotel or villa, you can enjoy a complimentary drop off.
