Ella is indeed blessed with some amazing topography with mountain networks, waterfalls, caves, tree covered high altitude grounds and some interesting sites including the Ella Gap and Ravana Falls. Many adventure filled tours and treks are organized by Lakpura since Ella spells out fun. Kayaking which is also a favoured past time by many adrenalin junkies, is catching up in Ella while there are two reservoirs namely Buduruwagala and Handapanagala which are well known locations to do so. The reservoirs are located about 40 km away from Ella while you can always contact Lakpura and make prior booking.
