Plants and Seeds
Plants grow from seeds, which contain the genetic blueprint for a new organism. Seeds require the right conditions—water, soil, and sunlight—to germinate. As they develop, plants produce oxygen, food, and habitats, sustaining life on Earth.

The Beli fruit plant (Aegle marmelos L.), also known as bael, stone apple, or golden apple, is a sacred and medicinal tree native to the Indian subcontinent and found naturally in Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Malaysia. Growing up to 10 meters tall, it bears alternate, trifoliate leaves and small, white, glandular flowers arranged in racemes. The fruit is subglobose with a hard, woody shell, containing 8–16 segments of clear, sticky, edible pulp enclosing 6–10 seeds. Valued in Ayurveda, the Beli plant is traditionally used to treat conditions like dysentery, excessive thirst, nausea, piles, fevers, headaches, and nervous system disorders.
