What to Expect:
Start Time and Initial Briefing:
- Your hike begins at Belihuloya at 7:30 am
- A short presentation on the hike and safety procedures will be given by your hiking guide
- You will leave the starting point at 7:45 am
The Hike:
- The 14km hike will take you along the Non Pareil Road to the Non Pareil Tea Estate
- The estate is located at the border of World’s End, a popular tourist destination
- Nagrak, situated at the base of the World’s End cliff, offers stunning views of the surrounding areas, even if it doesn’t have the panoramas from the top of the cliff
Scenic Views:
- You'll see mountain ranges such as Galagama, Ihala Galagama, and Silogama
- Enjoy views of the distant southern regions of Sri Lanka
- Spot faraway reservoirs and landmarks, including the Tissamaharama Dagoba
Points of Interest:
- Explore the Nagrak estate with its historic British-era bungalow
- Have lunch in the shadow of ‘World’s End
Return Journey:
- On the way back, you'll stop for evening refreshments and an additional photographic session
- You will return to the trailhead by 5:00 pm, completing your hike
