In Sri Lanka Ayurveda medicine is based on the country’s centuries old treasure trove of indigenous knowledge base, natural environment and cultural repertory. According to archeological evidence, human civilisation dates back 30,000 years. Cave men of that age domesticated many wild plant varieties and used them for food and medicines.
The presence of microorganisms in the oral cavity causes dental deterioration. Sumudu relieves bleeding, irritability, gum swelling and dental hypersensitivity. The paste contains ayurvedic oils, which primarily strengthen gums and prevent periodontitis. Sumudu has excellent disinfecting effects, it also works well against the formation of aphthae in the oral cavity. It contributes to perfect oral hygiene, helps maintain healthy gums and fresh breath.
Directions: use a pea sized (1 cm on brush) amount of tooth paste and brush your teeth at least twice a day, once in the morning and once before you go to bed. For perfect oral hygiene, it is recommended to use Sumudu in combination with Supirivicky toothpaste. Supirivicky is best for morning brushing, while Sumudu is recommended for evening use.
